I am not sure if it&#8217;s because it seems to beckon a new start, new possibilities. I love the quietness of dawn and the stirring of the creatures as they begin to welcome the new day in. I love the sky paintings when clouds are about &#8211; it&#8217;s all so refreshing for me and I am never sorry I was up to see it even when I haven&#8217;t slept well.<\/p>\n<p>Today I missed the sunrise but I did have a bright spot in my day. I opened my door to leave for work and was greeted by a bunch of flowers and an encouraging card. The card was unsigned but I felt cared for and loved. It&#8217;s amazing what such an act of kindness does for you. I went on my way with a smile and a song. I&#8217;d love to tell you the day was a good one after that, but, sadly it was pretty crappy.
